We couldn’t afford to Lose Them!

For those not yet aware, perhaps one of the most disappointing news items we have to share this Autumn is the closure of the national suicide prevention charity Papyrus and their helpline HOPEline last month. After 30 years saving lives from suicide, Papyrus saddly went into administration.

Papyrus have saved many people from suicide through their work and helpline, with call handlers able to perform suicide interventions and create safety plans for extremely vulnerable people.

We would like to thank all the staff, volunteers, and stakeholders of Papyrus who worked together to save lives.
