Runners and walkers invited to ‘earn their balls’ this November for The Robin Cancer Trust
- Posted on 12 October 2026
People across the UK are being challenged to run or walk this November as The Robin Cancer Trust launches its 2026 Virtual Big Ballsy Run.
The charity has teamed up with Kendal Mint Co and Nice Work to bring back the unique virtual challenge, giving participants the choice of completing 10K, 50K or 100K throughout November.
Participants can complete their chosen distance indoors or outdoors, in one session or across multiple sessions throughout the month. On completion of the challenge participants will receive the exclusive Big Ballsy Run 2026 finisher’s medal, shaped like a pair of testicles and emblazoned with the words “I EARNED MY BALLS”.
The Big Ballsy Run is designed to inspire people to get moving while helping The Robin Cancer Trust to raise awareness of testicular cancer.
Around 2,400 men are diagnosed with testicular cancer in the UK every year. It is the most common cancer in men aged 15–45; however when detected early it is 95% curable. The charity’s work focuses on raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of testicular cancer and encouraging people to feel confident seeking medical advice when something doesn’t feel right, as early detection can save lives.
Toby Freeman, Founder and CEO of The Robin Cancer Trust, said:
“The Big Ballsy Run is a fun virtual event. Testicular cancer isn’t something people always feel comfortable talking about, so we’re using humour and a rather memorable medal to help start those conversations.
“Whether you run 10K, walk 50K or take on the full 100K, you’re helping us raise awareness of testicular cancer and encourage more people to feel confident to speak with their GP if something doesn’t feel right.”
Fundraising is optional, but participants can choose to set up a fundraising page and raise money for The Robin Cancer Trust alongside their challenge.
The charity is encouraging people to take part individually or get friends, family and colleagues involved.
